Reuse, Reduce, Recycle Mailers

We do reuse packaging, such as mailers, from whatever items we receive from ILL. Follow these steps to help the environment.

• When shipping and receiving ILL materials, there is an opportunity to recycle envelopes.
• Carefully open any packaging we receive, such as boxes and mailers. Some libraries do use staples and tape together. Be extremely cautious when removing staples from this type of packing.
• If it is possible, remove the used mailing label(s).
• Make sure to use the recycled packing first. Not only will this save trees, but budget costs down.
